I think about this when people talk about huge stashes. It is probably the reason I wont build one. As a rule, we arent the youngest demographic and I think it would be sad to practically give hundreds to thousands of yards of fabric away once somebody passed on. All that money spent on fabric would be like having closets of clothes with the tags still on.
I remember my secretary talking about trying to get rid of her mother's sewing stuff when she died suddenly. It was very sad.
