I spent the whole day today trying to figure it out I I believe I am making some progress...the last one looks really better...I don't use pins and it goes fast...I believe this foot realize that I won't give up on it so it better start working.....
Its not an easy project but it won't be too big either...The instructions mentions finishing it by the applique method in order to attach it to the border
