The block is called Glorified Nine Patch. What I have is a set of templates with directions to make the block . . . there are no specific instructions for any particular quilt. The block was featured in both The Art of Classic Quiltmaking as well as my newest book Quilt Challenges (co-authored with Pam Mostek). If you'd like a set of the templates you can mail me a check for $12.50 (includes the postage) and I'll mail them to you. The templates are made out of acrylic material, are rotary friendly . . . John Flynn cuts the templates for me using a computer driven laser, so they are very accurate.

Hope this is helpful...at the moment I can't find the picture I took but it was realy similar.
Good deal, the price sounds right too, because that's how much I paid for my acrylic templates (it was in 2009).

But I got mine from Calico spice shop..
The online shop has traditional and contemporary items for sale.
