I was a bit of a loner before hand. Internet wasn't a big deal for me. Since joining the QB I have met other members. I have many friends now. I chat not only on the board but also on the phone. I think becoming a quilter has brought me out of my shell. Even my DH says he has noticed a difference in my social skills, a big improvement. I'm very sorry for the loss of your sister.
