My DH told me one time he thought all quilts should be quilted my hand. I've done a few by hand, but by this time I had a quilting machine. He told me he could not sleep under a machine stitched quilt. I made him a quilt, all done by machine, put it on the bed. Next morning I asked him how he slept. He said fine. I told him the quilt he slept under had been done by machine. He has never said another word about hand quilting.
