Ramona is right. Computer chips and magnets don't mix. Magnets will 'reset' the chips/memory in ways you won't like. Had it happen to me years ago at work. I'd do my work and then, to borrow a quilting term, the file would get 'wonky'. Had tech support over several times, then noticed I had a magnetic paperclip holder right next to the floppy drive - an ancient form of a cd/dvd/thumb drive. After I moved the paperclip holder, the problem ended.
