Pretty Kitty, Great Deal. The feed dogs don't go down on this machine. There is a cover to go over the feed dogs, that it available from Singer. Go on line to a singer dealer or the singershop.com That is the Singer company. You will need to give them the model #, which is located on that machine either under the handwheel or it might be the white # near the top right. Good luck. (I used to work for Singer)
