Thank you. It is for our school. The auction will be live and silent. Meaning that some items are bid on on paper and some with a live acutioneer. Which is always fun. Basically you donate the quilt and give a monetary amount that you think the quilt (or item) is worth and they usually start the bidding at less than that amount and hopefully it goes up from there. And anyone can come. I think this year they are charging a small fee for dessert or something. Last year I put a small wall hanging in for the silent action, I think it pull in about $75. But the year before my quilt was in the live auction and it went for $900! Believe me, that was exciting! I never thought I could ever make a quilt that someone would want to pay that much for.
