Currently, I don't have a long arm but I have found this thread to be very imformative. I am planning to go to a somewhat LQS that rents their Gammill and give it a try. Everyone's comparative input concerning all that you have to do to prepare a quilt to do on your DSM vs. LA seems logical to me. If you care, it takes time.
