Hi! You can call me Smevvies. I am new to quilting and have been reading this board for a couple of months and have decided to share - looks like fun. I am currently working on my second crib-size quilt. I made one sampler in a Quilting 101 class at my local quilt shop and am so happy with it that I hung it on the wall! I also made a doll-size log cabin quilt for my youngest grandchild and I fell in love with it!

Right now I am researching fabric cutters. The Accuquilt Go has mixed reviews and is pretty expensive in my view. Extra dies and all that (and apparently they wear out pretty fast). I am also looking at Alto's QuiltCut2. Looks like this one only cuts straight pieces (squares, rectangles, strips, triangles) but it might suit me better as it is supposed to be arthritis-friendly. Does anybody out there own either of these, and have an opinion? I would love to get some feedback on this topic.

Looking forward to more discussion here - what a great site!
