Ladyjanedoe, I Love the link, I don't think I can do that much applique, BUT it is a great way to get the school name and year in, maybe a couple of other descriptive words. That quilt is amazing tho..
Have to see if there are tshirts available.
If I'm picturing the right thing, I think the RAG QUILT idea would be good --- to me it adds a little masculinity to the quilt.
