This quilt top is from a block exchange I belong to. The blocks are from a Thimbleberries book/pattern. There were 12 blocks but the other 4 were smaller and I was going to put them on the back but sent them to Australia instead as they were asking for block donations. This one was mulled over for weeks when I came to finishing with the borders. The pieced border took hours to make. Then I stumbled across the paisley at recent fabric sale and although not truly civil war I thought it went nicely. Now it is in the pile for quilting.
