I'm in a block swap group. We meet every 2 months and one of us gets to choose what we want the others to make for her for the next meeting. This one was "black and white with a little bit of heart"...and here's what I made. They are both paper pieced. I got the patterns here http://www.yvonnes.dk (free blocks/blocks for quilts I/PBG quilt) and here http://www.paperpanache.com/free/guestpats/heartstf.htm, but I enlarged them both to 12.5". There are 8 of us, so the gal got 16 blocks total to make a quilt with!
