Welcome from a Florida snowbird from northeast Ohio. I've always understood that a comforter is made with really high batting and isn't as large as a quilt. It usually doesn't hang as far down on the bed. I make my quilts on a husqvara Designer II quilting and embroidery machine because I have nerve damage in my right hand. They're for my grandkids and they love them.
I'm curious why you picked the nickname of Wildfire. Wildfire is the name of the dance team that all 5 of my granddaughters have been since 1993. Now my great granddaughter is doing dance too.
