What a great story. It is one your daughter will love to hear as she gets older. I have 3 children 32,31 and 24. When they are all home at the same time they race to the couch in the family room and argue over who gets to use the first quilt I ever made 20 years ago. I too was trying to teach myself, and today it is worn and torn but I refuse to try to fix it up. It is a story of 20 years of love shared by three kids and I wouldn't want to change any of it.
