i read the posts and they appeared to stray from the original question. white thread on top and dark on bottom.
I don't believe the brand of thread makes any difference in a situation like this. One must be able to set tension exact to prevent this and would depend on a lot of factors - machine; how much thickness, pressure on the feet etc.
So I don't believe just changing thread will solve the problem.
