I bake all our bread. I messed up big time by learning how to bake bread and now that's all my family wants. I use a bread machine to mix and knead the dough. I take it out and let it rise and bake in the oven. I like to bake in bowls to get the round loafs. One thing I have found is it is very hard to get the old fashioned yeast. All I can find is the instant or fast acting. None of it has the great yeast flavor that makes the homemade bread taste like the homemade bread I use to make. Does anyone know where I can buy the real cake yeast?
