I looked at your quilt...must admit, never heard the term crumb quilt before...but my mother-in-law made utility crazy quilts that used the same kind of fabrics...my personal preferance is a little bit of solids in between so much pattern, but that's probably because I want to embelish...here's a sample of what she had done...lots of squares, and then I put them together to make a bed quilt. It has no embroidery or other embelishing. Is this what you mean by crumb quilt?
