Even if he only wants two colors, you might be able to sneak in more than two fabrics by using various prints with neon green and black. If you're really limited to only two fabrics, Nicole C Chambers has a quilt pattern called Butterscotch Sundae that I love. It's in the book More Simple Quilts with Splash, Dash & Panache -
