i think it is wonderful...1/8 would have been fine...length is what counts and sometimes you can fudge an 1/8 :-D
It was off by 1/8 on each little square, I calculated by the time I assembled the whole thing would have been 11x11 instead of 12 1/2 by 12/ 1/2. Big difference for the whole role. I do fudge a little, but that would have been alot.
