Deb when I made one of these quilts I had trouble with the center square trying to come back out when I did the 3rd seam. I really had to pin it well to keep it from doing so. I love this pattern once I figured out to pin it more. I made one for my SS at church as her last gift from me for our revealing in Jan. It only took me about 4 hours to complete it and it was a twin size one. Also I tweaked the pattern by adding a shashing between the blocks with some squares in the corner.
