My first sewing machine was a Pfaff that was bought used. It was one of the older models that had all metal working parts and was extremely heavy when trying to lift it. I was about 10 when my parents got me this machine. However, I first started sewing 47 years ago on my mothers old Singer. My first project was a summer nightie for myself and then I graduated into pillowcases and aprons. I haven't stopped sewing since then. I have become addicted to the craft and have made several winter coats, wedding dresses and a tailored and fully lined wool ensemble for a lady that I used to work with. Now I am sewing shirts for hubby and nephew as well as great niece and a new baby due in august. Jeanniebelle
