After all your input, I have decided to skip the border.
I searched last night for additional charm packs, not having much luck, I ordered layer cakes. The fabric design I'm working with was released a year ago and I'm lucky I found what I did.
I feel it's a good lesson to learn for future projects, especially when working with pre-cuts that have been around awhile.
