Than you so much ladies. I got motivated last night and cut up the clothing. I have done Bonnie Hunter's method many times with scraps. I haven't done the strip twist. I don't have many 18" pieces but guess I could sew smaller lengths together.
I like all of your ideas and hadn't thought of any of them.
