No, not early, they usually arrive about this time. We have alot of wetlands here so we see alot of them.
Janet, a blue heron ended up in my front yard last year. He was really sick, and I didnt know WHAT to do.....he had a HUGE beak, so I couldnt just move him or anything. None of the DNR places would help me either.....fianlly found a rehabilitation lady who came and got him. What a beautiful bird, she figured he drank from a poisined stream or something.
