I store the roll in the closet. Just slide it out to measure and cut, then right back into it's spot. When I bought it by the yard I was looking for places to keep it and I could never remember where I moved it. Now, I keep the trimmings in a bag hanging in the closet and the larger leftover pieces folded in the armoire in the next room.
