Loved the way you put it. I learned a long time ago that if you give a gift of any type with a string attached to it - what kind of a gift is it? I don't expect anything, but like grannie cheechee said - if I have UPS'd it (I NEVER mail a quilt) I like to know that got to it's destination. As a side note and warning....A friend mailed a quilt - was delivered to a warehouse and the post office knew they delivered it wrong and she fought for over 6 months to get an amount much less than the fabric, batting and thread cost. So please - if you treasure your quilts - don't mail them!
