So, I made a Turning Twenty Again quilt for a livingroom throw, and decided to do some FMQ. I have stippled and free-formed designs before (smooth, organic stuff like leaves, and swirls) but this time I decided to use a template and do a more formal design in the bigger squares and rectangles.

Ech.

Its wobbly and kind of icky looking. I couldn't stay on the lines as well as I wanted so the circle bits look lopsided and the fancy design has some bobbles in it.

I have only done 3 or 4 squares with the design, and I am considering ripping it out and going back over with something else.

The stiches look small and hard to rip out...I'm not sure I could do it well.

I'm not sure what to do...just keep going and have a wobbly design, or rip it out and try for something better.

And, if I do get it ripped out without hurting the fabric, will the previous stick holes go away?
