Hi,just found this site awhile back.Haven't begun to read it all yet,but love the topics, and the people here. One big family, love it.Have a great tip for mock hand quilting on a sewing machine. They did it in the 20's.So a very old and a lost art.Put 2 threads in the top needle,( darker color),then a thread that matches the quilt top color in the bobbin. The thick threads pop, while the bobbin thread disapears in the quilt.Try it both ways w/the colors.Adjust tensions till you like it. I can't wait to learn more.I'm like a sponge, like to soak it up,and pass it on.Thanks
