not sewing related, but my sil has back problems and her dr told her to sit on a hard surface.
Yep, it really does help. I'm almost 2 yrs post surgery (I had a bad fall & 2 herniated disks, crushed spinal cord & some nerve damage in my foot) and I also changed my footwear. I went from sneakers every day to boots with a 2-3" heel (big chunky ones for balance). Heck of an ego boost too, I walk with head high & shoulders back. Even when I'm in an uncomfortable situation I "look" confident, lol...
Figured I'd throw that out there if anyone has a sore back, works wonders! I spent 4 months so hooked on pain meds I could barely function. I'm young, only 33, lots of years left in my back and I have to take care of it.
