Here are a few of the small quilts I recently started on using applique. I still have to blanket stitch around the sunflower ones and I'll probably add some lines on the sunflowers and the leaves. I'd like to do my best on this one and might enter it in our quilt show in July.
The heart wallhanging is a duplicate of the doll quilt I made for February, made for my DH for Valentines Day.
The smaller of the two sunflowers goes to my oldest brother who lives in British Columbia. He told me they are having a lot of gray days with rain and snow, so I wanted to cheer him up with some sunshiny flowers.
I recently tackled applique and am really enjoying it. I hope you all like them! Thanks for looking!!
