Anotherday

My package from lovely Grammynan arrived yesterday! It was so much fun to open it, I had to stop myself from opening it in front of the mailbox! I waited until I could give it my full attention, and I am so glad that I did! I am posting a picture of the carefully wrapped goodies and then a picture of my 'loot.' I am new to quilting....sort of new to sewing as well, so my favorite part of the package is the sewing machine needle storage bag. I had no idea I needed one of these....but I really did need one! What a wonderful gift! There are all kinds of goodies, bright fabric that will be fun to make into something for my nieces, pins, seam ripper, emery boards, and a lovely shamrock piece that will be a wonderful St. Patrick's Day decoration for many years to come. There is also a pattern that arrived just in time for me to make a new ironing board cover and a sewing machine cozy to protect it from the constant dust I have with the windows open 24 hours a day 365 days a year. And the very same day I lost my purse tape measure somewhere between the parking lot and my desk at work...a very cute little tape measure arrived from my secret pal! Perfect timing! Thanks to Grammynan, and all the other secret pals that make this so much fun!
