I took the class last week and LOVED quilting in the longarm, Friday will be my first real quilt session. I am just going to be using free motion, no pnatographs or complicated designs. I am not that sew-talented, and I thought free motion quilting on the longarm is so much easier than my machine at home and so much more enjoyable.

As I am told, it'll take about three to four hours to quilt a queen size with an all over design. If you have the opportunity, I urge you to try it, I personally loved it.

I am renting a longarm to quilt my first bed quilts on Friday
Candi have you quilted on a long arm before? There is a quilt shop in my area that rents their long arm and offers classes on how to use it. I want to take a few of my quilts with me to quilt on the long arm.

I wonder how difficult it is to use and how long does it take to quilt one quilt (lap size) on a long arm.
