If your not into the embroidery, be careful. You need a program, computer, lots of thread, and lots of support things to get into it. Look for a good dealer with a repair place in the store. One that is near you, If you are quilting more than anything, look what supports that in the machine. Especially the larger area to support the size quilts you like to do. I have two brother machines and do lots of embroidery and starting into quilting now. It is my relaxer, or therapy. Good luck, from another Sue
