Stick to your plan. Once a good thought is there i don't let anything ruin it. It is a wonderful thing to buy books so the kids can read. You will be doing generations a good favor, than just keeping it at home knowing you can make more like it. You are right - I could always make another! I'm thinking that there is a child out there whose day/year/childhood would be greatly enhanced by being the recipient of this quilt.
