Many times over the past year I've mentioned the group I'm in, making "ugly quilts" for the homeless. I finally got a few pic's. We have made over the last 15 years, 15,000 ugly quilts, and donate to the Salvation Army, who distributes them. We've also given to the police, fire department, various churches and city employees to pass out when they see a need. It's a very rewarding experience, and we even have a few DH, including mine. He will pick up the donations we get from various groups, helps assemble the quilts and then delivers them to the Sal. Army. Outside of quilts are any type dark material, bed spreads. Inside batting are donated blankets or bed pads, and inside of quilt have a sheet. Here are a few pic's:
