I've got the bug tooooo. Have used a Gammell on 3 queens and 2 king quilts (rented time) but don't want to invest $15,000+ for a machine for personal use. I also looked and demoed a Husquavarna LA at $8,000 but not sure the dealer knows as much as I do about them. I guess it all comes down to how much and what size quilts I want to LA. Mostly I would be doing crib quilts for a cancer hospital here in town and so a cheaper machine would serve my purpose. I could always gent time for larger quilts if I felt uncomfortable using what I decide on.
