Bella, usually you find the cake yeast in the dairy case, not with the regular yeast. I bake all our bread and noodles too, I dont use a bread maker though...although sometimes I partially knead it with my kitchen aide mixer. I buy the dry yeast in bulk and keep it in the freezer. It keeps for a year or more.
