It is really nice to hear some of the comments on using "Quilt In a Day books. Take heed! Eleanor Burns is my idol. She is an ex-teacher who uses a lot of elementary (basic) techniques & tools. Go online at quiltinaday.com! I have used her books for the last 6 years! Her books are easy and gives you a lot of techniques. I also do thnk that you should take 1 Begginner class. Simple techniques are taught in these classes! I learn a lot of short cuts!
