LOL n2--I made this quilt several years ago. I can tell as it’s HQ (SID in blocks and then diagonally in borders). But my technique was a little different. For each block I used one 1” x 2” rectangle and four 1” x 1 ˝” rectangles. Two of the small rectangles were place right angles to each other then diagonally stitched across the end at a 45 degree angle. Trim off excess. Repeat this with second set of small rectangles. Next sew the three units together—pieced unit/large rectangle/pieced unit to create a 2” square. I made 36 of these.
The outer blocks use 2 large rectangles--pieced unit/large rectangle/large rectangle to create a 2” square. I made 28 of these.
