Ok...if you ask me where I am from...my gut instinct is to say North Carolina...although I haven't lived there for a long time...it is still in my soul.
But now I live in Massachusetts, married a New England boy and nothing is going to move him from here.
so if you over look the high cost of living here, the traffic nightmares, the snow (as we say here, if you don't like the weather, wait a minute), and politics, this is a great place to live.
Things I love:
I am within 1/2 drive to a beach or mountain.
There are passionate people here (medicine, education, art, sports and of course politics)
Our Fall foliage is so beautiful, you just know it was painted by the hand of God.
Most important of all, it is where my family is now. And that is where the heart is.
