I used to work across the street from a bakery (near Chicago) that ONLY made paczki on Fat Tuesday. They had strawberry, blueberry, lemon, poppy seed, custard, Bavarian creme and several other flavors besides my favorite, apricot! People used to line up outside to buy them to take to their places of work. Sure do miss those wonderful Chicago bakeries.......
