Welcome Cassie, from St. Louis! Taking a class is the way to go, if there is one close by. Other wise find a book at the library with a pattern you like, and go for it! Ask questions here because we all had to start somewhere, and not all of us had family members to ask! And trust me, we have all made mistakes, so we know what it means to be stuck!
