I hate auto-turnoff! So what iron do you have? I am thinking I may need a new one and have been looking and cannot find anything without an auto turnoff.
My favorite iron is a older Black and Decker travel iron that I got at a thrift store. It stays hot, it is small enough to take to classes or retreats and it DOES NOT have auto shut off. I think you can still find them on ebay. By the way. Thanks for the quilt shops you recommended to me when I went to Ca. I got to visit a few of them and absolutly loved the one in a big warehouse type place. Thanks.
