I think alot has to do withhow much money you can spend. They seem to range ALL over the place! I got a real simple, cheap and easy to use one at Walmart first, since I knew NOTHING about it.....but "outgrew" it quick, as I wanted a bit bigger area.
This is the first one I purchase and is "still" my friend for sewing also...now have a babylock embroidery machine!
