Yes, they take the 66 bobbin. If you can find the old bobbins, use them for this machine. The clearance on this is so small that ANY irregularity will cause your machine to stop making it's usual beautiful stitch. Ray White and I spent two or three hours on mine last year, doing everything to it imaginable, only to find that the thread was hanging up on the bobbin. Live and learn. The bobbin looked fine and felt fine when I ran my fingers over it, but it was just enough to cause a poor stitch.
For those of you who don't already know, Ray White is an OSMG--an Elna repairman who now travels around the US training others to do repair on their own or other's machines. I have high praise for his classes.
