I love D&J fabrics, too. I learned to read, like so many others my age, from the books. Later, when my granddaughter was struggling to learn to read, I tutored her using a reprint of a D&J that I bought at school. She loves the fabric, too, and picked out some on our last trip to the LQS. I just smiled and tossed it in with the other stuff. She'll play with it one afternoon, no doubt, when she comes for a weekend. She's 12, so I'm thrilled with anything at my house that piques her interest. She practically lived here on weekends, now she comes only when there's nothing better going on. Typical pre-teen angst!
