Is there any way that you can take three off of a cone and put them on a spool? My mom has a self threading machine and there is now way a cone will work with this thing. I have a few cones that she really likes the thread but I have now way of fixing it for her. Thanks to anyone who can help
Are you sure a cone won't work with the machine? You can buy a cone stand and thread the machine from the stand. Or you can put the cone on the table next to the machine and tape a safety pin with the loop end up and thread the machine thru that.
The thing with winding a spool from a cone is then the thread is going thru the machine from the wrong end.
