I quilted this for my friend Bonnie - it's her round robin from our quilting group.
She asked for a leafy design, so I took my clue from the quilt and instead of quilting each border differently, I did a unique repeat design in each row.
In the centre block I did swirls, and around it I did a random forest floor kind of leafy pattern. The rows of leaves on either side of the centre alternate with a zigzag with little flowers and leaves.
I long arm freehand and make my own designs - no computer.
The background is very dark brown, but my flash bleached out the colour.
