A good bit of my stash is 1/2 and 1/4 yd pieces...or smaller(if I have used off of them) Especially if you intend to make some
scrap quilts along the way, the more variety, the more
interesting it is, at least to me. You are my age also, and I
think we begin to realize we aren't going to make another
100 quilts, ha.
